Is There a Correlation Between Easy Bruising and My Eating Lots of Junk Food?

Hello Again:
We’re going to revisit how diet affects our tendency to bruise easily over the next few weeks. For some of you, you may remember these topics about diet, but I think that we can’t get too much information in our fight to overcome our easy bruising.
Haven’t we all looked down to see a bruise that we do not remember getting? This might mean that every time we bump into the wall or a door, we are getting some bruising that seems to be completely out of proportion to the impact we endured, and one of the bruising causes that might contributing to this situation is vitamin deficiency.
If we are guilty of a high consumption of junk food, we could be doing our body a great disservice. The empty calories that go along with junk food, which might be aptly called trash calories, come into our body without bringing many of the good vitamins along with them, and there is a good chance that they are making the bruises that we are experiencing worse. What do we need to know to deal with this situation?
When we are thinking about how junk food might relate to our easy bruising, think about what happens when we bruise. As we age (I’m not aging, are you?), we are going to find that our skin gets more fragile, and that the capillaries that we have are going to be more inclined to rupture.
These weaknesses can make our body prone to bruising when a gentle knock against a hard surface breaks the capillaries underneath our skin. To combat this bruising, our capillaries need to be given the resources to heal themselves after they get broken. Ideally, they should also be strengthened so that they do not break in the first place.
When we eat too much junk food, we are not getting the nutrition that is essential for helping the healing processes of our body and defending the body against future injury. When we look at the nutrient lists of things like chips, ice cream and candy, we will find that they are not going to give us a good dose of vitamin A, vitamin C or even of the iron that we need. When we eat too much junk food, all we are doing is giving our body a lot of complex sugars.
The complex sugars can give us a high that is going to get us through a dull spot in our day, but shortly after the high comes the crash. This crash will leave us feeling tired, irritable, and groggy, and then we are going to be looking for another high. When we are eating simple sugars, we will find that they break down much more slowly, and that they will give our body energy that can be parceled out more slowly and which will last.
Not only does eating junk food give us issues with vitamins, we will also find that junk foods will prevent us from wanting to eat the foods that will actually help heal our bruises. Depending on what our family history looks like, it can even push us towards diabetes, which has easy bruising as one of its warning signs.
This is definitely one major reason why we want to look into removing the junk food from our diet and replacing it with something that is actually better for us. Keep a food journal, and consider how you are doing. Can we look at the list and honestly say that we are getting the vitamins that we need? What are the deficiencies that we can spot right away?
Think about our diet and consider how you are going to be able to deal with the easy bruising that we are encountering. First off we need to cut out the majority of the junk food that’s part of our current diet, and then we know we need to follow the Bruises Be Banned daily supplement program to help us reduce bruising easily or prevent bruising altogether.
Remember that the only thing we have to lose by not following the Bruises Be Banned program is our social life because of our ugly bruises.
