Step 9 of Ten Steps to Prevent Bruising: Step Up To Aerobic Exercise!

This Is Not Like Any Aerobics Class I’ve Ever Seen!

Now that we’ve gotten serious about our efforts to stop bruising easily once and for all, we might still be a little hesitant about taking up a more vigorous sport or type of exercise.  After all, doesn’t that mean that we are just going to get more bumps and bruises to worry about?  While exercising in a way that is unsafe or impractical for us can cause injury, we will find that an aerobic workout where we stay safe and where we make sure that we know how to do the exercise can make a huge difference to the way that our body feels.  Aerobic exercise means that we are going to exercise for the specific purpose of elevating our heart rate for an extended period of time.

Consider the fact that easy bruising is tightly connected to the way that our body reacts when it get injured.  As we get older, we will begin to notice that our skin is frailer, and we will learn that our blood vessels are getting thinner.  When we exercise aerobically, we are actually forcing them to do more work and they must toughen up.  A good exercise program will make us more resilient, and it will make our body more resistant to bruising in general.

Another important aspect that aerobic exercise will give us is a means of reducing the chances that we are going to hurt ourselves dramatically.  We are improving our core strength, and we will be less inclined to trip or to bump into things because we are going to be inherently more graceful.  Think about which sport or exercise is going to get us into top aerobic condition with the resultant benefits that we desire.

When we are trying to determine what kind of exercise is going to suit us in our quest to overcome easy bruising once and for all, we need to consider where we are physically right now.  Aerobic exercise is the key, and it will improve our heart and the way that our heart affects and interacts with the rest of our body.  Look to see what activity levels are required to help us get the grace and the radiant health that we want.  When we improve the way that our body functions, we will find that our circulatory system is going to improve as well.  This circulatory system improvement can be the integral step to helping us defeat bruising easily.

When we are considering taking up a new and exciting exercise program, give thought to the martial arts. We can develop strength, grace and flexibility all at once.  Consider whether we are interested in sparring or in something that you can do on our own.  We need to select a style that we can be inherently comfortable with. This is something that is going to get our heart rate up, and that is definitely good for us.  Our selection of martial arts can be a great choice for helping to avoid bruising, but just remember that we might be courting new bruises if decide to pursue something that is high contact in style.

If our joints are healthy and aren’t problematic, we may want to consider jogging.  Jogging requires good form, good shoes, and a forgiving surface to keep our joints in good shape, but it is a great way to raise our heart rate.  Jogging gives our circulatory system a workout that is perfect for improving our health overall.

If you want to think about a method of exercise that allows us to be more adventurous, think about snowboarding.  Snowboarding is great, especially if you thrive on the outdoors and on the cold air.  It can be a little scary, especially if you have never done anything like it before, but it can be wonderfully invigorating.  Once you have spent some time with it, it gets easier on our body and we can definitely get a good workout that way.
