Do You Think This Kind Of Behavior Will Help You Stop Bruising?

Hello Again:

In our last post on this blog we discussed how having a good, healthy, well balanced diet can help to minimize the incidence of easy bruising, so it will come as little surprise to learn that if what we eat can affect body function, so can what we don’t eat, particularly if the things that you are missing from our diet are things that contribute to keeping healthy body functions.  If our vitamin and mineral levels are out of balance, this will have an adverse effect on our immune system and how quickly our body recovers from injury, including the tendency to bruise easily.

One of the essential vitamins that should be prevalent in our diet is vitamin P, more often referred to as bioflavonoids. A deficiency of bioflavonoids will contribute to easy bruising as well as several other body functional defects. Bioflavonoids are natural ingredients that are found in fresh fruits and vegetables, where they often appear as the yellow pigments in citrus fruits and other vegetable plants.  According to recent research, there are as many as four thousand different bioflavonoids.

Bioflavonoids play a key role in diminishing swelling because they perform somewhat like antihistamines. They also have superior virus fighting potential, and in general they offer our body an important boost to its general well being. Bioflavonoids are particularly renowned for the support that they give to our circulatory system, which is something that is instrumental in facilitating our body’s ability to recover from injury quicker.  Besides citrus fruits, bioflavonoids are also found in bilberry plants, which have been used in herbal medicine recipes for centuries.

A shortage of vitamin C is another deficiency that will impair healthy body functions.  Our body puts vitamin C to many uses, one of which is believed to be in support of our immune system by providing it with a significant boost.  As with the antihistamine effect imparted by bioflavonoids, vitamin C also helps to diminish swelling, and it serves to enhance our body’s potential for rapid recovery from injury.  If that in itself wasn’t enough, vitamin C further contributes great health value by stimulating our body’s production of collagen, which is essential to maintaining the elasticity of our skin, as well as helping to minimize wrinkling as we grow older.

A deficiency of vitamin C (once the cause of scurvy among ancient mariners), is quite easy to rectify with a simple visit to our local grocery store, and add plenty of citrus fruits.  Oranges, grapefruits, and limes are particularly good, and when eaten raw they dump loads of vitamin C straight into our body’s system giving it an essential boost. Drinking fresh orange or grapefruit juice for breakfast is a great way of getting our daily dose of vitamin C.

Another great contributor to circulatory health is vitamin K.  When our circulatory system is fit and healthy it helps enormously to speed up the body’s potential to minimize and recover from any bruising.  Vitamin K helps our blood to clot, protects our heart, and is good for bone integrity.  It is found in most green, leafy vegetables including spinach, broccoli, and collards.  It really helps to minimize bruising, and can even help to eradicate it altogether.

Sulfur is another important contributor to our body’s ability to ward off easy bruising.  Sulfur enables our body’s capability to metabolize carbohydrates, and is another essential mineral that supports our rapid repair mechanism. Bearing in mind that a bruise is caused by damage occasioned to our blood vessels, the sooner they heal, the sooner our bruising will visually disappear.  Sulfur can be harvested from the bromelain group of plants, which includes pineapple, and it is also recommended to people suffering from arthritis.

As you can clearly see from the points we have discussed here, deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals can, and will adversely affect our body’s potential for easy bruising.  By ensuring our vitamin and mineral levels are correctly balanced, we can contribute to less body bruising and faster recovery.  Most of us are aware that the vitamins, minerals , and nutrients discussed here can be found in Bruises Be Banned.   We should all know by now that following the daily Bruises Be Banned supplement program is the best way to overcome our easy bruising and prevent bruising altogether.

Remember the only thing we have to lose by not following the Bruises Be Banned daily program is our social life because of our ugly bruises.
